Song title: Eternal Dreamless Sleep
Lyrics by: Lars Muldjord
-----
When I die, when life depletes,
I have hope for dreamless sleep.
Break it down, you’ll agree,
Nothing’s fun for an eternity.
When you take your final breath,
When your hand leads you to your death.
When your eyes are dimming out the light,
Truth will show, what comes after this life?
Cold, black, darkness.
Eternal dreamless sleep.
Nothing is forever,
A fragile eternity.
Carry my soul,
Bring it to the nether.
But when you’re done,
Please let me go,
To sleep my eternal sleep.
Cold, black, darkness.
Eternal dreamless sleep.
Nothing is forever,
A fragile eternity.
Don’t make me the offer,
To fulfill my every dream,
Eternity will wear it down,
A living hell indeed.
It’s so cold now,
Darkness fills my mind.
Can you see the light?
Denied, I choose the dark.
When I die, when life depletes,
I have hope for dreamless sleep.
When I take my final breath,
When your hand leads me to my death.
Break it down, you’ll agree,
Nothing’s fun for an eternity.
The Danish death/thrash/black metal band Muldjord was born back in 2003. It is basically a one-man project, and the band was
formed with the purpose of enabling the creator to unleash home-produced material to the outside world, thus creating some kind of distribution channel unlinked to any specific record label.

Not gonna lie, I don't usually go in for the super composed, melodic flavor of black metal. That said, I'm thoroughly enjoying this release. Gives kinda an Old Man's Child type vibe. Ghuughra

I wasn't ready for this album, but it burst into my life through a brick wall like the Kool-Aid man on methamphetamines and beat the living daylights out of me just for the hell of it. As others have mentioned, this is an unrelenting and vicious slab of chaotic blackened death metal that levels everything in its path, takes no prisoners, and is not for the weak of heart. If there is a Guinness Book of World Record entry for metal, then the drummer of this band should be included. PannionSeer
